Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment's Despicable Me 3 will be shown in theaters beginning 30 June 2017. Other than that, no specific details have been revealed about the upcoming 3-D computer-animated comedy film. It can however be expected to continue with the adventures of ex-despicable villain Felonious Gru, his assistant and love interest Lucy Wilde, their adopted daughters — Margo, Edith and Agnes — and the Minions. Walt Disney Pictures' Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales or simply Pirates of the Caribbean 5, the next installment in the fantasy adventure film franchise series inspired by a Walt Disney theme park ride, opens in theaters on July 7, 2017. Originally set for a July 2015 showing, the release date had to be moved back to accommodate script rewrites. The upcoming movie will be directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg based on a screenplay by Jeff Nathanson along with Stuart Beatie, Ted Elliot, Terry Rosio and Jay Wolpert. Franchise star Johnny Depp was also asked by Disney and executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer to collaborate with Nathanson on the script development.Read more

Marvel Studios has confirmed that the third Thor film will be titled Thor: Ragnarok, and it will hit theaters July 28, 2017. Back in January of last year, the studio announced that Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle will be writing the screenplay for the Thor 3 movie. Chris Hemsworth who plays the title role, according to Comic Book, was asked if he could divulge any details about his third Thor film. He replied, “No, I can't...But also, there is no script for Thor, the next Thor, so I have no idea where we'll end up. But, it's pretty big, this one.”Read more
