NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 16’s upcoming 12th episode which airs Wednesday, January 21, is titled ‘Padre Sandunguera.’ According to the network’s new official synopsis, Amaro’s father, Nicolas (guest star Armand Assante), is going to ask his estranged family to attend his marriage to 28-year-old Gabriella Nunez (guest star Katty Velasquez), and despite their volatile past, all but Amaro will agree. When a fight breaks out at the wedding and Nicolas is put in handcuffs, Amaro is going to become a witness in a case that could expose family secrets and tear his family apart.Read more

ABC’s Modern Family will not be airing new Season 6 episodes for the next two weeks according to the network’s medianet. Instead, it will be showing re-runs. On January 21, two of the season’s earlier episodes will be aired – episode 1 titled ‘In the Long Honeymoon’ and episode 3 titled ‘The Cold.’ On the following Wednesday, January 28, it will re-air episode 4 titled ‘Marco Polo’ and episode 5 titled ‘Won’t You Be Our Neighbor.’ The studio has not yet said anything if new episodes will begin airing by February 4, the next succeeding Wednesday. Modern Family’s latest serialized show, which aired January 14, was episode 12 titled ‘The Big Guns.’ According to Spoiler TV, though still unscheduled, episode 15 will be called ‘Valentine's Day: Twisted Sister,’ episode 16 ‘Rash Decisions’ and episode 17 ‘Spring Break.’Read more

ABC’s Nashville Season 3 episode 11 which airs February 4, Wednesday, at its 10:00 pm time slot is entitled “I’m Not That Good at Goodbye.” Directed by Jan Eliasberg from a script written by Debra Fordham, the network’s teaser for the upcoming installment in the musical drama TV series reads: “The wedding is off, but the drama is fully on!” ABC also released a promo clip for episode 11 which according to On The Flix “gives us new looks at Deacon finally beating the ever living shit out of Luke after Luke is seen, just running over a whole bunch of stuff in a nasty anger fit. Fox’s Bones tenth season’s 11th episode though still untitled is scheduled to air on March 26, 2015, a Thursday, at its 8:00 pm time slot. The cited reason for the long break following the mid-season finale is to give the networks’ newer shows Backstrom and Empire a chance and also because American Idol may broadcast some two-night episodes for a while. Still another conjectured reason may because Emily Deschanel’s pregnancy will have to be written in into the storylines in the show’s remaining episodes for the season. CBS’ The Amazing Race 25, the twenty-fifth installment of the reality television show The Amazing Race which featured eleven teams of two in a race around the world was concluded on December 19 with ‘The Candy Girls’ Amy DeJong and Maya Warren winning $1 million grand prize. On crowning them, host Phil Keoghan, according to Reality TV World, said: “Amy and Maya. Eight countries, 20 cities and more than 26,000 miles, you have won the one million dollars and are the official winners of The Amazing Race!” Amy DeJong and Maya Warren are both Ph.D. (Food Science, specializing in the study of confectionery products) students and lab mates at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.Read more
