‘Miss Bala’ Star Stephanie Sigman Cast in ‘Spectre’ as Another Bond Girl
Stephanie Sigman, best known for her portrayal of the title role in Gerardo Naranjo's thriller film Miss Bala and for her role as Eva in the FX TV series The Bridge, is a late-minute addition to the cast of MGM’s Spectre, the twenty-fourth in Eon Productions’ James Bond film series franchise, which is currently already filming and is set for release to theaters on November 6. MGM and Sony today announced that Sigman has signed on to play a mystery character known only as “Estrella.”

Lucy Lawless, 46, best known for playing the title role in the long-running TV series Xena: Warrior Princess and for her character roles in the Battlestar Galactica and the Spartacus trilogy series is cast as Ruby in Starz's upcoming Ash vs. Evil Dead, the TV series sequel to The Evil Dead film franchise created by Sam Raimi. Lawless will be portraying Ruby, described only as “a mysterious figure who's on a quest to stop the evil outbreak and believes that Ash is the one who's the cause of it.”Read more
