The iPod touch sixth generation is already way behind its schedule, with its release date expected to have already occurred in Sept 2014 in accordance with Apple's two year update plan for the modern day killer gadget. For reasons which have not been addressed yet, the iPod touch 6 is as of now lost without a trace.
