Kelly Oxford's pitch for All the Way, described only as “a female-driven sex comedy set in high school,” has been purchased by Sony Pictures. Oxford will be writing the script for the movie with Point Grey Pictures, the production company of Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver, handling production. Point Grey's executive Alex McAtee will be overseeing the project for the company according to The Wrap.Read more

Universal Pictures has officially announced that the biopic on the brains behind Apple, Steve Jobs, will be ready for release in Fall 2015. According to the reports, the film is being directed by Danny Boyle, who also directed the Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire and 128 Hours. The script is being developed by Aaron Sorkin, who was the man behind The Social Network's storyline.Read more

The remake of the hit musical, Annie, and the Brad Pitt starrer, Fury, were one of the five Sony movies that was hacked and were shared over the internet this week. The perpetrators were North Korean hackers in response to a movie starring James Franco and Seth Rogen.Read more
