Grand Theft Auto, BBC's Biopic About Game Creator Set to Star Daniel Radcliffe

Daniel Radcliffe, 25, best know for playing the title role in the Harry Potter film series, is in talks to star in BBC Films' Grand Theft Auto, a true-to-life account of the fight between Sam Hauser, the creator of the Grand Theft Auto video game franchise and Jack Thompson, a Miami lawyer who wanted to ban video game violence according to The Hollywood Reporter. Radcliffe is reportedly being wooed to play Hauser, the co-founder and president of Rockstar Games, the company behind GTA as well as games such as Max Payne and Red Dead. Owen Harris is directing the biopic from a script by James Wood based on David Kushner's book Jacked: The Outlaw Story of Grand Theft Auto.
