In a video released April 1st, Extra TV's host Mario Lopez, asked title star Ryan Reynolds to confirm whether the upcoming Deadpool movie will be rated PG-13 or R. The interview however was cut short, when Deadpool himself arrived, knocked out Lopez from behind for advocating for the PG-13 rating, and saying, “It’s okay Jesse, Slater can’t hurt you anymore,” a reference to Lopez’s Saved By The Bell days. Reynolds' voice over is next heard saying, “April Fools'! Deadpool will of course be rated R.”Read more

20th Century Fox on Friday launched the official website and Twitter page for the upcoming Deadpool movie, with both showing the first photo still of Ryan Reynolds in his “merc with the mouth” costume posing ala Burt Reynolds on a bearskin rug in front of a blazing fire. The star captioned his first tweet thus: “With great power, comes great irresponsibility. #deadpool #officialsuit @deadpoolmovie”Read more

Morena Baccarin, 35, today tweeted a picture of her actor’s chair, complete with the Deadpool logo and her character’s name “Vanessa” in director Tim Miller's upcoming live-action adaptation of the Marvel Comics character's story. In the comic book, Vanessa Carlyle is a mutant with shape-shifting abilities, codenamed Copycat, who has a long romantic history with Deadpool.Read more
