Colin Trevorrow, 38, the director best known for his work on the critically acclaimed 2012 film Safety Not Guaranteed, has finished helming duties on Jurassic World, the fourth installment in the Jurassic Park film series, which will screen in theaters on June 12. Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic World (aka Jurassic Park IV), the fourth film in the Jurassic Park multimedia franchise based on the Michael Crichton novel of the same name, will be released in 3D on June 12, a Friday, according to Universal Studios’ official announcement. Filming wrapped up August 5 with producer Frank Marshall even tweeting a picture of the final day’s call sheet that says ”Picture Finish.” Directed by Colin Trevorrow based on a script he co-wrote with Derek Connolly, Jurassic World will take off twenty-two years after the Jurassic Park III incidents.Read more
