David Ayer Begins Filming on 'Suicide Squad'
Director David Ayer today announced via his Twitter page that principal photography is now officially underway on Warner Bros. ensemble cast super-villain team movie Suicide Squad. He tweeted a snapshot of his slate, with the caption, “Day one.”

Producer and director Brian Singer today announce via his Instagram page that Olivia Munn has been cast to play Betsy Braddock, better known as the mutant superhero Psylocke in X-Men: Apoclypse, the sequel to last year's X-Men: Days of Future Past. “Excited to welcome @oliviamunn as Betsy Braddock! #Psylocke #XmenApocalypse #Xmen,” he wrote with a link to a photo of the actress.Read more

Warner Bros. Pictures’ Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2016. Although touted as the sequel to last year’s Man of Steel major blockbuster, the film's official website shows that Ben Affleck who plays Batman gets first billing over Henry Cavill who stars as Superman, so much so that Alan Orange at Movie Web writes: “this is now looked at as more of a prequel to Justice League Part 1 and Justice League Part 2. Michelle MacLaren has dropped out of directing Warner Bros. And DC Entertainment's Wonder Woman in-development film due to creative differences, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “Given creative differences, Warner Bros. and Michelle MacLaren have decided not to move forward with plans to develop and direct Wonder Woman together,” the studio reportedly said in its statement.Read more
