Several major characters have left CBS' police procedural drama "NCIS" such as Special Agents Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) and the latest one who left is Alex Quinn (Jennifer Esposito). Fans were saddened by their departures but most of them continued watching the show especially that Mark Harmon is still on the show. He plays the role of Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, a former Scout Sniper of the United States Marine Corps, who is now in command of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. Gibbs has had several relationships in the past seasons but they didn't work out although reports say that he will finally meet his new love interest in season 15.

Reports suggest that "NCIS" season 15 sees a new character, who goes by the name of Reagan and is likely the soon-to-be love interest of Leroy Jethro Gibbs. The new woman in Gibbs' life is said to be in her middle forties with a background in Psychology. Blasting News suggests that Gibbs and Reagan's meeting wouldn't be as good as everyone would expect them as a couple. However, they would later realize that they share something special for each other.
There are no further details about Reagan on the upcoming "NCIS" season 15 but CarterMatt says that the name might be changed anytime soon before the character makes her first appearance in the show. Additionally, a new Assistant Director is also expected to join the team comes the next installment. While there have been theories that Mark Harmon will possibly leave the show due to health reasons, the news about his new love interest only proves that he is not going anywhere.
Earlier reports from Celebeat suggest that fans were expecting that "NCIS" season 15 will no longer star Mark Harmon since his doctors reportedly advised him to rest for a little while. However, it looks like it's not happening at all since his character is about to meet his new love-life. Meanwhile, Michael Weatherly also said that it's possible that he might reunite with Cote de Pablo in the series when the right time comes.
