Apparently, everyone's dying to see "Rick and Morty" season 3 again in the small screens after its first episode aired on April Fool's Day unannounced. Creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have a way of surprising fans and it seems that there will be some good news coming soon. Recently, one of the creators took to social media, addressing all the worries that the series might be in long hiatus again. What's more interesting is Adult Swim's recent announcement that an event for the popular series is going live this week.
Den of Geek reports that Adult Swim on June 26, announced that a live "Rick and Morty" event will take place on June 29 with creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland via AdultSwim.com. It was a short and puzzling message but most fans are wondering if this is another surprise for everyone. "Don't miss it. Or be late. Trust us," Adult Swim wrote.
When it was announced that there will be a live event for "Rick and Morty," many fans are wondering if the second episode of the third installment will be airing on June 29. Knowing how Adult Swim and the creators surprised all fans on April 1, it's possible that the hotly-anticipated episode 2 titled "Rickmancing the Stone" will be released on the said date. Theories have it that although the creators, particularly Dan Harmon admitted that they've been having difficulties finishing the plotline for the series, it could be that they're done with it and plans to air episode 2 anytime soon.
A hungover thread where I address Rick and Morty devotees because I feel bad for any fan worrying about any show-threatening issue:
— Dan Harmon (@danharmon) June 24, 2017
Harmon took to Twitter and said that they are overthinking the plot for "Rick and Morty" season 3, which is one reason why they're taking so long to get it done. While most fans are impatiently waiting for the next episode, there are fans who understand enough. "As a fan of your work, thank you for giving a shit," a fan replied to Harmon's post. "I'd rather have a great product than someone rushing to meet a deadline."
Do you think that "Rick and Morty" season 3 episode 2 will be aired on June 29? Are the creators and Adult Swim trying to surprise everyone again? Share us your thoughts below!
