BIGBANG T.O.P's hospital press conference just recently concluded and it revealed the South Korean star’s current state. Doctors were keen to correct all speculations regarding the 29-year-old singer-songwriter, actor, and record producer’s health condition and gave everyone the much-awaited update.
As translated by Koreaboo, the doctors revealed that T.O.P’s (Choi Seung-hyun) blood pressure was extremely high and his heart beat was very high. Upon testing, doctors found that his bloodstream was low on oxygen and was high on carbon dioxide. The BIGBANG star is prescribed to anti depressants but that is not identifiable through urine. The only thing found on his system was Benzodiazepine.
Benzodiazepine is not a sleeping pill, it is used to fight anxiety so the statement that he took sleeping pills is not true. The doctors also noted that it is proper procedure to watch patients who suffer from side effects of Benzodiazepine at the ICU to make sure this does not happen. As far as they can tell, he has not gone into this state as of yet but he is still in a stage where a careful eye must be kept on him.
“Although we cannot guarantee how long it will take to recover but on average a healthy person who does not have any other illnesses, it takes around a week or two for them to recover,” one of the doctors revealed. “He is still not breathing properly and is recovering in that state. We are also attempting to psychologically treat him but are unable to due to his unresponsive state.”
Doctors cannot say specifically how many pills T.O.P would need to take to turn into this state, but the number is estimated to be quite big. The BIGBANG star’s state of consciousness is in a very bad state and his blood state is bad as well. Keep it here in Celebeat for more update about BIGBANG’s T.O.P’s health condition!
