The "Supergirl" Season 2 finale certainly had people talking about the upcoming debut of DC villain Reign, who was revealed to be sent to Earth right before the destruction of Krypton. But is it possible that Odette Annable's Worldkiller will also be responsible for the return of Mon-El? Some believe that the world hasn't seen the last of Chris Wood's Daxamite prince, who could still return to National City in "Supergirl" Season 3. Will Reign be the one to save Mon-El from the Phantom Zone and end up getting between him and Kara Danvers?
In "Nevertheless, She Persisted", Kara Danvers had to send Mon-El away from Earth to save him so she placed him in his pod and they had a tearful farewell. In the last minutes of the episode, the pod is shown being sucked into a wormhole in the Phantom Zone before the scene switches to Reign being shot out into space to wreak havoc on Earth. Not surprisingly, fans thought this could mean that the Daxamite and the DC villainess will be connected in "Supergirl" Season 3. Is it possible that Odette Annable's Reign and Chris Wood's Mon-El will find each other in the Phantom Zone?
There are speculations that Reign may have ended up lost somewhere in space instead of landing on Earth and could be the key to bringing back Mon-El. Some believe that the Worldkiller will find his pod and he could lead her back to Earth in gratitude. Needless to say, Kara Danvers will be happy to see her boyfriend again in "Supergirl" Season 3, but probably won't be a big fan of Odette Annable's villainess putting the moves on her man. Nevertheless, it will be awesome to have Chris Wood back in the series.
Kara Danvers certainly has a lot of trouble to face now that Odette Annable has been cast as Reign, as per TVLine. After all, the former "Banshee" star went out with a bang in what could be considered one of the most brutal fight scenes in TV history. Find out if Reign can defeat Kara in "Supergirl" Season 3, which is expected to premiere on The CW this fall.
