"Once Upon a Time" Season 7 will be a reboot of the ABC fantasy drama that will see the introduction of new characters and cast members. "Once Upon a Time" Season 7 has officially been renewed despite speculations that the ABC drama will be ending for good with season six. The only catch, however, is that the show will undergo a reboot, which will see the departure of the majority of the cast members, including Jennifer Morrison's lead character, Emma Swan.
While there is a bit of hesitation on the changes that will take place on "Once Upon a Time" Season 7, Lana Parilla told Gold Derby that she is excited to see what these changes will mean for her character, Regina. "OUAT" Season 7 will also see a new Henry, which will be an older version of the original character.
"I am excited to see what the next chapter is for Regina and who this new Henry is," she said. "If he's older, does that mean I'm aging?"
Parilla, however, shared the sentiments of fans when the ABC series announced the departure of a lot of its cast members on "Once Upon a Time" Season 7. The actress, who plays the Evil Queen and Regina, said that she is going to miss her co-stars.
Meanwhile, production for "Once Upon a Time" Season 7 is expected to begin on July 6, reports DGC. The show has yet to announce the new cast members that will join the series along with the reboot.
