Michael Schumacher is one of the world's greatest Formula One drivers of all time and a decorated car-racer. All of these went into grief when the F1 legend met an accident and suffered a serious, traumatic head injury while skiing with his son Mick in the French Alps. There were reports that he has shown hopeful signs but a friend of his, claims that he may never walk again. However, recent reports suggest that his health condition will no longer be publicized for the F1 legend's sake.
The Sun quoted Sabine Kehm, the manager of Michael Schumacher, who told the German media that they all want to protect the car racer's privacy. "[He] has consistently drawn a clear line between the public and the private, which has always been accepted by the fans and the media," she explained. "The decision to protect his privacy from the public has been taken in [his] interest."
Since the accident of Michael Schumacher took place in December 2013, details of his health condition have been scarce and there are fans who argued that they also have the right to know at least a few details about him. However, his family is very determined to keep his condition in private. Kehm went on to say that given the trauma and the seriousness of the F1 legend's injuries, it is extremely important to protect his privacy for his best interest.
Meanwhile, the wife of Michael Schumacher was blackmailed by a man in Germany for demanding €900,000 from her, or he will get their children killed. The Telegraph reports that the authorities traced him through his personal bank account that he gave to Corrina and was given a suspended sentence of one year and nine months. He was also asked to pay €4,500 and to undergo counseling as well as 50 hours of community service.
Michael Schumacher had immeasurable achievements at the height of his car-racing career. He might be gone from the spotlight at this time. However, for fans, he will always be their champ.
