Dylan O'Brien has already proven he can play a wise-cracking best friend of a True Alpha and a speedy Glader but it looks like the star of "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" is also capable of beating up bad guys. "Doctor Strange" actor Scott Adkins has just revealed that O'Brien showed off his fighting moves in his new film "American Assassin". It certainly sounds like the "Maze Runner 3" star is a natural when it comes to fighting off villains.
In an interview, Scott Adkins spoke highly of Dylan O'Brien, whom he had worked with in "American Assassin". The "Undisputed II: Last Man Standing" star praised the "Maze Runner 3" actor for doing "a brilliant job" as Mitch Rapp (via Twitter). "He's a very physical kid and he picked it up so easily," Adkins stated before sharing an interesting story about rehearsing with O'Brien on an action scene. According to the "Zero Dark Thirty" star, they only tried the sequence twice before the stunt coordinator decided they could easily go through the moves during filming.

The praise from Scott Adkins should not be taken lightly. After all, he is a fully trained kickboxing instructor who excels in Krav Maga, Jeet Kune Do, Karate, Ninjitsu, and Capoeira. The fact that the real Yuri Boyka thinks highly of Dylan O'Brien is proof that the "Maze Runner 3" star is fully capable of headlining an action film.
The "Maze Runner 3" actor was not the only one that Scott Adkins admires. The star of "The Bourne Ultimatum" also praised O'Brien's castmates Michael Keaton and Taylor Kitsch. "American Assassin" is scheduled for release on September 15.
