People have their own theories about what will happen in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi", most of which involve Luke Skywalker's new apprentice Rey. There is little doubt that the girl from Jakku played by Daisy Ridley is destined for greater things as her identity could finally be revealed in "Episode 8". Has a new theory confirmed that Rey is actually related to Obi-Wan Kenobi? Could a new vision allow Rey to get a glimpse at Darth Vader?
Rey's parentage has been the subject of fan discussions since before the release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". It was initially believed that Daisy Ridley will portray the daughter of Han Solo and Leia Organa, but it has since been revealed their child is Kylo Ren. So who are Rey's parents? CeleBeat has previously reported on Daisy Ridley being introduced as Rey Kenobi at the Star Wars Celebration, somehow confirming she is related to Old Ben. Some believe that Rey might be Obi-Wan's granddaughter and this could finally be confirmed in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi". In addition to that, "Episode 8" is expected to feature a new vision where Rey will see Darth Vader.
So... Rey is a Kenobi. And Finn is a Windu. Okay. #IndahnyaBerbagi #StarWars #TheLastJedi pic.twitter.com/zDYCacBlgq

According to YouTuber Mike Zeroh, "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" is set to feature another flashback sequence where Rey will see the lightsaber duel between Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker in "The Empire Strikes Back". This particular scene will prove to be very important since this is the last time Luke held his father's lightsaber (Vader sliced off his hand, causing the weapon to drop and be lost in Cloud City).
Hopefully, "Episode 8" will show how the lightsaber ended up with Maz Kanata, who in turn gave it to Daisy Ridley's character. "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" film will premiere on December 15.
