Maddie Ziegler has been a part of "Dance Moms" for as long as anyone can remember. So expectedly, the young star is believed to have formed a special bond with her fellow Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) Junior Elite Competition Team members, but it seems that she has found her real BFF outside the hit Lifetime show. The "Book of Henry" actress recently revealed that she dealt with fake friends, was she talking about former pal and biggest rival, Chloe Lukasiak?
“I learned at a very young age that not everyone is your true friend and not everyone is going to like you,” Maddie Ziegler told J-14. “One girl in our group would say mean things to me like, ‘Why are you wearing your hair like that?,’ or ‘Your outfit’s ugly.” Although many assumed that the former "Dance Moms" star was pointing at Chloe Lukasiak, the 14-year-old dancer, actress, model, writer, and businesswoman was actually talking about her so-called-friends in school.
Maddie Ziegler confessed that she shed a lot of tears because of these fake friends. But despite this unfortunate incident, the "Ballerina" actress made sure that she will not let the mean comments pull her down, instead, she took it as a lesson to never be friends with someone who does not see the good in her anymore.
Meanwhile, Maddie Ziegler was catapulted to stardom when she performed in Sia's mega-successful "Chandelier" music video. The talented star then became an instant inspiration to the young ones, including "Stranger Things" actress Millie Bobby Brown.
So when Millie Bobby Brown guest starred on The Ellen DeGeneres show, she shared her idol-fan moment over "Dance Moms" alum, Maddie Ziegler. The 13-year-old English actress and model revealed that she is a huge fan of the hit Lifetime show and the "Ballerina" star, so when she got the chance to meet her she "started crying."
The duo then became instant friends and bonded after they had a sleep over at Maddie Ziegler's house and the fire alarm went off. Millie Bobby Brown recalled the incident and revealed that it made them closer.
"I'm crying because I'm like 'My first sleepover's ruined!' So, yeah, we've been through a lot," the "Stranger Things" actress recalled. Millie Bobby Brown noted that she and Maddie Ziegler became good friends and she considers the former "Dance Moms" star as he best friend.
