Honey Boo Boo Doesn't Want Another Reality Show; Here's Why!

Child beauty pageant contestant Alana Thompson or best known as Honey Boo Boo might return to dominate the small screens as reports claim that she will have her own weight loss reality show. Her mother, Mama June has lost some hundred pounds following a gastric sleeve surgery and has been in a healthy lifestyle. It is said that the reality star wants to do the same with her youngest daughter as she has been worried with the kid's health.

CDL reports that Mama June wanted Honey Boo Boo to be on a strict diet so she doesn't have to worry about her health. It can be recalled that in the previous episode of "Mama June: From Not to Hot," the doctor was alarmed with how her youngest daughter as well as Pumpkin both look like. That said, the doctor recommended putting her two daughters on a diet for a healthier lifestyle.

However, Honey Boo Boo, 11, did not like the idea and said that she can only do it if cheeseburgers would be part of the diet. It is said that Mama June is currently in discussions for a spin-off show to feature her family's journey to a healthier lifestyle. "Now that June is firmly committed to eating a healthy, balanced diet herself, she's keen to get her kids on board. It helps that it would make for a great TV show too!" a source said.

Despite the protests of Honey Boo Boo for having another reality show so she can embrace a healthy lifestyle, Mama June is reportedly determined to win over her daughter's decision. Another source also said that the next installment of "Mama June: From Not to Hot" will be focused on her youngest daughter's healthy lifestyle journey. However, critics believe that putting an 11-year-old on a strict diet doesn't give a good impression to all girls her age who will be watching the show.

Nonetheless, Mama June is concerned about the health of Honey Boo Boo and as they say, a mother knows best. Worrying about how her daughter would look like in the next few years is only understandable as she has experienced the same too. The new reality show is yet to be confirmed.
