"Rick and Morty" Season 3 may feature a conflict between the two lead titular characters from the Adult Swim series. According to Den of Geek, the premiere episode of the show featured Morty shooting Rick in the head only to realize that the gun was fake.
This seemingly hints that the upcoming "Rick and Morty" Season 3 episodes will see these two fight with each other. The publication further notes that Morty still does not like and trust Rick, which means that the former may turn against Rick in the forthcoming episodes of the show.
"Rick and Morty" Season 3 will also see Rick turn into a pickle in the upcoming episodes. This was already teased in a short clip from the upcoming season, but the reason behind the transformation still remains to be seen on TV.
"Rick and Morty" Season 3 episode 2 is titled "Rickmancing the Stone," which will be released on Adult Swim this summer. Inverse reports that there is no way to predict what will happen in the said episode based on the title.
As most fans know by now, the titles of the show usually have little to do with the storyline nor do they share similarities to the original titles. "Rick and Morty" Season 3 episode 2, however, may do a bit of reference to "Romancing the Stone," a 1984 romantic comedy movie starring Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner.
