"The Originals" Season 5 is officially happening, as The CW recently announced the show's renewal for another season. Many fans are rejoicing over this news while some began speculating on what the new season may hold for the vampires at New Orleans. Will Klaroline finally happen?

"The Originals" Season 5 spoilers are teasing on the possibility that the Klaus and Caroline aka Klaroline romance will finally happen on The CW drama. As TVGuide.com reports, The CW has recently ordered another year for the "TVD" spinoff series.
This opens up the possibility for Klaroline to finally have their moment on "The Originals" Season 5. An earlier interview with Julie Plec revealed that the crossover between the two characters from the show and its predecessor, "The Vampire Diaries" will happen in the upcoming seasons of the series.
"We do have crossover elements in the upcoming season of 'The Originals,'" she explained.
As most fans can recall, "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 ended with Klaus donating some money to Caroline's school with a note that left Klaroline fans gleaming with joy. In the said note, Klaus told Caroline that he is looking forward to thanking her in person "however long it takes."
While Klaus' romantic relationship appears to have a promising future, "The Originals" Season 4 spoilers from TVLine reveal that Klaus will meet Davina once again. Danielle Campbell told the publication that Davina and Klaus are not in good terms, but they need to cooperate with each other in order to defeat the Hollow.
In the upcoming "The Originals" Season 4 episode, Davina will teach Klaus and Hayley the things that they need to learn to defeat the Hollow. Campbell explained that Davina has learned a few things while she was in the ancestral realm.
