Ragnar Lothbrok may no longer be a part of "Vikings" Season 5 but that doesn't mean that the world has seen the last of Travis Fimmel. The "Warcraft" star has recently been spotted filming with Lena Dunham in New York although the possible comedy is not the only thing Fimmel has been working on since he left his show. Luckily, fans can expect to see the Australian actor in three new films as well as an awesome TV series that will also air on History.
Just Jared has already reported on Travis Fimmel being photographed in New York City, where he is seen filming scenes with Lena Dunham. There are speculations that the former "Vikings" actor might be working on a romantic comedy with the "Girls" star. It is still unclear what the new film will be about but it certainly will not be the only Fimmel movie in the near future.
Travis Fimmel certainly didn't waste time when he finished working on the fourth season of "Vikings". The "Warcraft" star reportedly began filming for the heist thriller "Finding Steve McQueen" last year. In addition to that, Fimmel shot "Lean On Pete", which will also feature Charlie Plummer, Chloe Sevigny and Steve Buscemi. The Andrew Haigh movie completed production back in September 2016 but Fimmel is also set to return to History soon.

CeleBeat has previously reported on Travis Fimmel returning for another History series which, unfortunately, is not "Vikings" Season 5. Ragnar Lothbrok will be trading his axe for a pair of pistols as Fimmel is set to play Wyatt Earp in a still-untitled new show.
The release dates for "Finding Steve McQueen", "Lean On Pete" and the untitled Lena Dunham film have not yet been announced. Likewise, Travis Fimmel's Wyatt Earp TV series has not yet started production. Nevertheless, there is hope that the actor's latest projects will hit theaters by late 2017 or early 2018.
