"Big Hero 7" has been filling up the online web with rumors, theories and speculations. "Big Hero 7" is one of the most highly anticipated sequels since "Big Hero 6" aired in 2014. The possibility of a sequel began as several news sites reported on rumors on the next instalment until Stan Lee told Toronto Sun in an earlier interview that a sequel was in the works.
Back then, Lee was talking about the sequels to movies such as "Guardians of the Galaxy," "Avengers" and "Captain America." However, sequels to these films have already been released while others are already in production, but there is no word yet on "Big Hero 7" or "Big Hero 6" sequel.
This made a lot of viewers wonder whether "Big Hero 7" will still happen given that it has been almost three years since "Big Hero 6" aired in theatres. This long wait, however, is pretty common to most Disney films such as "Cars," whose first instalment came out in 2006, the second in 2011 and the third one will be released this 2017.
Producer Roy Conli recently told Screenrant that the possibility of "Big Hero 7" is "still up in the air." The producer confirmed that he and directors Don Hall and Chris Williams talked about the "Big Hero 6" sequel, but there is still uncertainty about the sequel.
Conli explained that if he were to do "Big Hero 7," they should be able to make something as good as the first one. Conli also squashed the popular theory for the "Big Hero 6" sequel that Tadashi is alive and said that this is nothing more than just a rumor.
