With oldest BIGBANG member, T.O.P, already serving his mandatory military service for three months, it is expected that the rest of the members will be enlisting themselves soon as well. G-Dragon's solo world tour trailer seemingly revealed the path that he's going to take after his highly-anticipated concert.
Kwon Ji-yong, or better known by his stage name G-Dragon, titled his world tour as “Act III: Motte,” marking his third solo concert as a solo artist. The BIGBANG members are known to do solo projects outside the band, which made them mega-successful as a group and as individuals as well.
However, G-Dragon's 2017 solo world tour promo trailer hinted that this could be his farewell gift for the VIPs (BIGBANG fans). The teaser states " Moment of truth the end." The "the end" part is what making fans worry that this may very well be the last time they will see the king of K-pop on stage before he enlist himself.
As previously reported, G-Dragon has already accepted the fact that he and his BIGBANG members will be heading to their military services soon. While he is open to do his duty whole heartedly, the 28-year-old South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer, and fashion icon's only concern is if fans will still accept them after being gone from the scene for quite a long time.
"We'll go and do our duty well. It's the aftermath that's the problem," G-Dragon said in an interview. "However, when that time arrives, we might be older and have changed our minds. Although we will always be BIGBANG, we don't know what will happen when we come back [from enlistment]."
There is still no official word on when exactly will G-Dragon start his military service, but for now fans all over the world can catch him in his 2017 solo world tour which will start on June 10 at the Seoul Sangam World Cup Stadium. The BIGBANG star will then proceed to Macao, Singapore, Thailand, Canada, and several cities in the United States, Australia, and Japan.
