Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have been subject of dating rumors for quite awhile now despite of the "Fifty Shades Darker" actor's 4-year marriage to singer and actress, Amelia Warner. Now, the 34-year-old Irish actor, model, and musician is setting the record straight regarding his relationship with both women.
Talking to Cosmopolitan, Jamie Dornan reacted to dating rumors and being linked to someone he only met once his whole life. The "Fifty Shades Darker" actor clearly took the whispers and speculations lightly and is just amused as to what the media has been spreading about his love life.
“It’s amazing ... Once, a friend said, ‘I read that you dated Kate Moss.’ I was like, ‘I’d tell you if I’d dated Kate Moss!’ I’ve literally met her once in my life, but if you Googled me now, it would probably say I dated her," Jamie Dornan told the publication. "About 80 percent of the people I’m said to have dated, I haven’t.”
Although Jamie Dornan did not mention Dakota Johnson's name, the duo have always noted that they are good friend way before they worked together in the "Fifty Shades" trilogy. As good working actors, the "Fifty Shades Darker" co-stars have to put their real-life friendship aside to do justice to their job and it definitely paid off as many noticed their undeniable chemistry on-screen. However, people can sometime forget how to separate reality from fantasy and that's how all the dating rumors started.
Meanwhile, Korea Portal suggested that Amelia Warner is not too happy and comfortable with Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson's close relationship. The site claimed that the "Fifty Shades Darker" actor's wife has been visible than usual on the set to monitor their every move.
While these claims are merely rumors for now, Jamie Dornan shared one important thing that he loves about his wife. "I like laughter — I like trying to make people laugh, and I like when people make me laugh. I think my wife’s very funny, so we have a giggle a lot."
