The upcoming DC Extended Universe flick "Aquaman" already boasts a star-studded cast but there is one costar that Jason Momoa simply cannot get enough of. The "Justice League" star recently revealed that he is a huge fan of Temuera Morrison, who will portray Arthur Curry's father in the James Wan film. The "Game of Thrones" alum even called the man who played Jango Fett "a true inspiration".
It's no surprise that Jason Momoa looks up to Temuera Morrison. After all, the veteran actor has appeared in several iconic movies including "The Matrix", the "Star Wars" prequels and most recently, Disney's "Moana". As it turns out, Momoa has been wanting to work with Morrison for a long time and is elated that the actor will be playing his dad in "Aquaman". Naturally, their first meeting involved big smiles and lots of hugging.
Jason Momoa has recently shared a picture on Instagram. The image features the "Game of Thrones" alum giving Temuera Morrison a huge bear hug and came with a touching caption about "meeting one of my idols." Momoa stated that he is "so honored and proud" that he will be playing Morrison's son. "A true inspiration for me growing up trying to become an actor," he wrote of Arthur Curry's dad in "Aquaman". There is little doubt that the two will be amazing together in the highly anticipated DCEU film.
