'Outlander' Season 3 Actress Caitriona Balfe Not Interesting In Making Sam Heughan Her Boyfriend?

Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe have been a subject of dating rumors for quite awhile now. But when the "Outlander" season 3 actor has previously opened up about his experience with being rejected by someone he really liked, many were shocked that this ever happened to him. So was it his Starz show's co-star who dumped him?

Talking to Elle magazine, Sam Heughan recalled the unfortunate event about being turned down by a woman he liked before. While fans are quick to think that it may be his co-star who dumped him, the "Outlander" Season 3 actor was actually referring to his teenage years.

I do remember one time when I was teenager and someone I was pursuing, and I think it was Valentine’s Day and I went to their house with wine and glasses and flowers, and I put it outside their door and waited for them and they didn’t turn up," Sam Heughan shared. "And then I got this phone call the next day saying I should leave them alone and not stalk them, like it’s a bit scary that you’re leaving stuff outside my door, so it wasn’t really as successful as maybe I was hoping it to be."

Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe, who played James "Jamie" Mackenzie Fraser and Claire Beauchamp Randall/Fraser respectively on the Starz show, remained tight-lipped about their relationship status, their on-screen and off-screen chemistry are definitely undeniable. Although the "Outlander" Season 3 stars have always noted that they are just friends, their sweet glances at each other and their body language made fans believe that they are definitely more than that.
