"Rick and Morty" Season 3 surprised a lot of viewers after the Adult Swim series suddenly released the first episode of the season on April Fools'. "Rick and Morty" Season 3 episode 2 entitled "Rickmancing the Stone" is expected to be released on Adult Swim this July. As Independent reports, the show has officially confirmed that the next episode of the show will be released this summer.
While details of the said episode of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 are still scarce, the publication notes that the show's official Twitter account teased that during the second episode, Rick may transform into a pickle. A video of Rick as a pickle was recently released online, leaving many fans wondering what led to the transformation.
Inverse also reports that Spencer Grammer, who is the voice behind Summer, shared the script for "Rick and Morty" Season 3 episode 2. Not much could be seen from the photo, except for the words "giant piano" on the script.
The title for "Rick and Morty" Season 3 episode 2 may be taken as a reference from the 1984 adventure film entitled, "Romancing the Stone." The publication notes that the Adult Swim series is famous for doing references on movies even without a complete association with its plot.
Aside from the fact that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 episode 2 may feature Rick's transformation into a pickle, many fans are also looking forward to the return of Evil Morty. Unfortunately, series creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have already confirmed that Evil Morty will not be appearing this season.
