G-Dragon 2017: BIGBANG Star Shifts From Looking Aegyo To Sexy

K-pop fans have always liked seeing their idols looking aegyo and watching them doing aegyo things. It doesn't matter if the K-pop idol is young or old, fans just can't seem to get enough of them being aegyo. However, BIGBANG leader G-Dragon is trying to steer clear from looking cute and is hoping to appear more his age with a sexy and edgy vibe.

Aegyo is a Korean term that refers to someone acting, looking, and expressing something in a cute way and  is usually expected to be done by both male and female k-pop idols. Kwon Ji-yong, or better known as G-Dragon, is turning 29 years old this year and he is definitely moving on from his cutesy days.

G-Dragon is known for his baby face but he is determined to look less cute by growing his facial hair. The BIGBANG leader posted a snap on his Instagram account with a much older look that shocked everyone. The K-pop star has clearly departed from his aegyo look by covering his cute face with mustache and goatee.

BIGBANG is on a hiatus as a five-member band since Choi Seung-hyun a.k.a. T.O.P is currently serving a 2-year mandatory military enlistment. While the oldest member of the group is away, the four remaining members are doing individual projects for the meantime and G-Dragon just recently hinted that he will be releasing a solo album soon.

G-Dragon is definitely known as a trendsetter he is probably launching a new look for his alleged upcoming solo album. The BIGBANG leader certainly has a lot of ideas in his very creative mind and it is not a surprise anymore if he will make mustache and goatee a thing in K-pop soon.
