Dylan O'Brien is certainly on a roll despite having suffered an accident on the set of "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" early last year. The actor's return as Mieczyslaw "Stiles" Stilinsky in the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 winter finale was one of the most emotional aspects in "Riders on the Storm". In addition to that, it has been confirmed that O'Brien has resumed work on "Maze Runner 3". Now it looks like the lead star of "American Assassin" has been fancasted as DC comic book character Jason Todd, who was one of Batman's Robin. Could O'Brien possibly land the role of Red Hood in a future DC Extended Universe film?
A Twitter user recently offered to fancast certain actors in possible roles for DCEU. Not surprisingly, Dylan O'Brien was one of the stars who immediately got chosen to play Jason Todd, who happens to be one of the most tragic heroes in comic book history. Could the "American Assassin" actor take on the role of Red Hood?
Dylan O'Brien fans certainly liked the idea of O'Brien playing Red Hood in a future DCEU movie. However, it is unclear whether the "American Assassin" star could find time to be Jason Todd since he is busy working on "Maze Runner 3".

It might not be certain that Dylan O'Brien will end up playing Jason Todd in one of the future DCEU flick, but there is little doubt that he is excited about "American Assassin". CeleBeat has previously reported on O'Brien going back to Twitter to promote the new teaser for his upcoming action flick, which also stars Michael Keaton, Sanaa Lathan and Shiva Negar. The movie, which is based on the novel of the same name, is scheduled for release on September 15.
