‘Outlander’ Season 3 Spoilers: Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe Nearing The End Of Production

The "Outlander" Season 8 is already here and fans are all the more excited to see what awaits time travelling couple, Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe). As the cast and crew of the Starz drama recently headed to South Africa, Sam Heughan recently shared that they are down to shooting their last three episodes for the upcoming season.

"Outlander" Season 3 spoilers reveal that Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe and the rest of the cast are close to wrapping up their production in South Africa. In a recent post on Twitter, Heughan shared that they are done filming two episodes of the upcoming season in the new location.

Easter and that's a wrap on first two eps in SA! 3 more to go....!!

This leaves Balfe, Heughan and the cast with three episodes before production ends for "Outlander" Season 3. This is also right on schedule with the expected end of production in May in time for the show's season premiere in September.

The cast and crew had to push the "Outlander" Season 3 release date to a later date than usual because they had to film some scenes in South Africa for the voyaging scenes. However, the good news is that the Starz drama recently released its first ever teaser for the new season.

As Mashable reports, the 30-second trailer for "Outlander" Season 3 showed Jamie and Claire living their lives away from each other. The publication also notes that there appears to be a shift from Claire's voiceover to Jamie's now that their scenes will be shown simultaneously.

In one of the scenes from the "Outlander" Season 3 trailer, Jamie can be seen shouting for Claire's name. Claire, on the other hand, still longs for her husband while she is living her life as a doctor together with her daughter, Brianna (Sophie Skelton), and her husband, Frank (Tobias Menzies).
