After Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh) and her group betrayed the Alexandrians in "The Walking Dead" season 7 episode finale, many fans are wondering who wins the battle. Some fans might still be grieving over Sasha's death but most are actually happy knowing that she didn't have to die brutally. Now that another major character has left, fans couldn't help but wonder how long should Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) stay as the villain in the series. Will he die next season or could it be Rick?
Sasha (Sonequa Green-Martin) is undoubtedly a hero, who chose to end her own life for the greater good of her friends back in Alexandria. However, she is not the sole hero here as Shiva, the pet tiger of King Ezekiel (Khary Payton) had his own spotlight too when he saved Carl (Chandler Riggs). It was when Negan was about to hit Carl with his brutal baseball bat Lucille in "The Walking Dead" season 7 episode finale.
Alexandria has the support from the Hilltop and the Kingdom leaving the Oceanside safe from the battle, maybe for now after its leader refused to unite with others to fight against the Saviors. The real all out war that everyone expects will finally set off comes "The Walking Dead" season 8. Reports say that although the three communities have united, the Saviors might still outnumber them. Thanks to Negan's "I am Negan" thing.
Rick (Andrew Lincoln) is apparently one of the major stars in "The Walking Dead" and it would be too much if he dies. Does it mean Negan will? Well, if the showrunners follow the comics' storyline in this case, Rick will slit Negan's throat or worse, he will use Lucille to brutally kill the villain.
Additionally, there will be a time jump after the all out war. "Also, maybe in a couple of episodes time, there may be a jump ahead in the curve and maybe setting themselves to that job at hand," Andrew Lincoln told Comic Book. Who do you think will die in the next season of "The Walking Dead"? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
