Freida Pinto gave her condition to play the next Bond girl. Meanwhile, as Daniel Craig is no longer playing James Bond, the question of who will become the next 007 still unanswered. However, the list of the most suitable candidates has been determined.
In an interview with Lorraine Kelly in "Lorraine" on ITV, she denied the rumor of her to play a Bond girl in the next installment of James Bond. Nevertheless, Pinto told Kelly that she had one clear condition if she is to play Bond girl, according to the report from Daily Express. She stated that her character must have her own voice, not just an object of Bond's lust.
In the meantime, MGM Studios has not decided the actor who will replace Daniel Craig to become the next 007. Fans have been asked to name their most favorite actors as the candidate to play Bond. From the list, Tom Hardy and Michael Fassbender are the top two contenders among the British actors to play James Bond, according to The Sun.
Following Hardy and Fassbender, other candidates including 31-year-old James Norton, Tom Hiddleston and Aidan Turner. Another one is Idris Elba, who gained attention to his appearance and look. If he is selected, Elba will become the first James Bond in color, thus getting out of Bond stereotypes as a British gentleman.
Recently, MGM Studios and 20th Century Fox are busy with the class-action lawsuit from its fans in the United States over the DVD set of "Bond 50: Celebrating Five Decades of Bond 007," that excludes two James Bond movies the 1967’s "Casino Royale" and 1983’s "Never Say Never Again."
