Disheartened fans of "Naruto Shippuden" are in for a neat treat as "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will have its own anime version. The anime is expected to feature beloved characters from its parent series but this time, the focus will shift on Naruto's son with Hinata named Boruto. Check out more details below.
"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," the spinoff of the well-celebrated "Naruto Shippuden" will follow the lives of Boruto, his parents and their friends, years after the 4th Great Ninja War. Manga readers, however, should be aware that the anime version will not stay true to the plot of the "Boruto" manga series, reported Mobipicker. This shouldn't be a cause for worry, though, because the first teaser promo of the upcoming anime seems to be thrilling and action-packed similar to the manga.
Those who have not watched the "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" trailer should check the video below. It highlights Boruto on his way to the Ninja Academy. Naruto made an appearance too as well as some of his son's friends. Fans will surely enjoy watching the father and son in the modern era when all war is presumed to be over.
Meanwhile, Viz Media just confirmed that it already acquired the North American and Latin American digital, broadcast home media and master merchandising rights to the "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" anime, Animation World Network reported. The highly anticipated first episode of the series will premiere on Hulu in the United States. This will be a weekly episode starting on April 5, which is the same air date of the anime in Japan.
"Naruto Shippuden" concluded in March with its final episode featuring Naruto and Hinata's wedding. Long time viewers reportedly had a roller coaster ride of emotions in saying goodbye to their favorite Hokage. But there really isn't goodbye as fans will still see Naruto again with his son on "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" that's streaming this week on Hulu. So stay tuned!
