There is much excitement over "American Assassin", which will be the first major film to feature Dylan O'Brien after his accident on the set of "Maze Runner: The Death Cure". Luckily, Shiva Negar has shared some new footage from the action thriller that offers a glimpse at the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 star. In addition to that, there are speculations that the first "American Assassin" trailer will be released soon.
Fans have been understandably worried about Dylan O'Brien when he was injured on the set of "Maze Runner 3". However, the accident certainly hasn't stopped the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 star from taking on action-packed roles. Fans will get to see O'Brien back in action in "American Assassin" this September.
Shiva Negar recently shared on Snapchat that she is working on the audio for "American Assassin" (via Twitter). The actress' brief update revealed footage from the film, which is based on the Vince Flynn novel. Interestingly, the sequence Negar is recording also involves Dylan O'Brien, who will play CIA black ops agent Mitch Rapp.

The teased footage from "American Assassin" that Shiva Negar shared might involve plenty of dialogue but there is little doubt that the film will have plenty of action. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first trailer for the Dylan O'Brien movie debuted at the Lionsgate presentation at CinemaCon last week. The report states that the teaser is "intense" as O'Brien's Mitch Rapp faces Michael Keaton's Stan Hurley, who shows the younger man a few old tricks.
"American Assassin" is directed by Michael Cuesta and also stars Sanaa Lathan and Taylor Kitsch. The film will premiere on September 15. Dylan O'Brien is also expected to return as Stiles Stilinski in the last 10 episodes of "Teen Wolf" Season 6, which airs on MTV this summer.
