"Prison Break" Season 5 recently premiered on TV with Lincoln Burrows and Sara Tancredi's discovery that Michael Scofield is alive and locked up in a prison in Yemen. As IGN recaps, the season premiere of the Fox revival failed to deliver the answers to some of the fans' burning questions.
For instance, many fans were looking forward to hearing the explanation behind Michael's supposed death in the Season 4 finale. The "Prison Break" revival is expected to unveil the answer to this question in the upcoming episodes.
The publication notes that some of the changes in the characters such as T-Bag and C-Note appear to have been shaped to help Michael get out of prison on "Prison Break" Season 5. However, the cast recently told Entertainment Weekly that everything has been done with the aim of retelling the characters' story the same as they did with the first season.
The "Prison Break" Season 5 cast also expressed their desire to reprise their roles should Fox give them the green light for another season. Series creator Paul Scheuring admitted, however, that there would come a time when the series will no longer be eligible for a reboot because they might just lose the quality of the story.
"Prison Break" Season 5 airs every Tuesday on Fox.
