Liam's Payne mother Karen expressed her happiness to welcome the birth of her grandson just in time for the Mother's Day. She took her joy to Instagram and shared the special moment.
Karen, as reported by Daily Mail, wrote in her Instagram an expressive message regarding her status as a grandmother. She wrote, "'Finally I can boast that I am a grandmother! The happiest grandmother."
The baby was born on Wednesday, March 22 weighing 7 lbs 9. Following the birth of the baby, Payne and his girlfriend Cheryl social media are flooded with the congratulatory message. They also invited families and close friends to come to their house in Hertfordshire over the weekend to celebrate the newborn baby as reported by Daily Mirror. Fulfilling their invitation, families and friends continuously visited them during the Mother's Day weekend, making the new parent to be quite overwhelmed.
Her bandmate Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts were among the guests and also her sister who brought her children to see the new cousins. Family members from both Cheryl and Payne came to congratulate them and according to one of the close friends, the house is full of children who running around everywhere. Payne's sister Nicola and Ruth also came to visit their youngest brother and see their nephews.
Cheryl, the former member of girl group Girls Aloud is the first-time mother, as she didn't have children from the two previous marriages with professional footballer Ashley Cole and Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini. Her relationship with Payne, who is 10 years younger began in January last year.
She met Payne for the very first time in 2011 when she became the judge of the X-Factor and Payne was one of the contestants. Cheryl has recently divorced from her first marriage with Cole and still used her husband name. However, their relationship initially began last year and now their relationship is complete with the new baby boy as reported by Entertainment Tonight below:
