Jax Teller may be gone, but it looks like everybody's favorite biker still continues to exist through Charlie Hunnam. The "Sons of Anarchy" star has just confirmed that playing Jax may have changed his life. In addition to that, his portrayal of the titular character in "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" was deeply affected by the SAMCRO president.
Charlie Hunnam recently attended the CinemaCon to promote his new film "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword". The star of "The Lost City of Z" spoke to ComicBook, admitting that playing Jax Teller is something that was difficult to get out of his system.
"I felt when I finished ['Sons of Anarchy'] that it was a real process to get back to center and try to exorcise [Jax] out of my psyche for as much as possible," Charlie Hunnam stated. It looks like playing the biker for eight straight years may have been ingrained into the "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" star. Hunnam revealed that there is a hint of Jax in Arthur because he began working on the Guy Ritchie film so soon after "SOA" concluded.
"I started this movie maybe three months after I finished 'Sons' so I'm sure there's flavors of him in there," Charlie Hunnam shared of his character Jax Teller. However, the "Sons of Anarchy" actor was quick to add that bringing Jax into his "King Arthur" character "wasn't intentional" at all.
"Sons of Anarchy" may be over but Charlie Hunnam's career certainly isn't. He is set to appear alongside Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson and Sienna Miller in "The Lost City of Z" on April 14 (via Vulture). "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" also stars Jude Law, Aidan Gillen, Eric Bana and Djimon Hounsou. The Guy Ritchie movie will premiere on May 12.
