Harry Styles fans were left in a frenzy following his cryptic social media post recently. With reports circulating of new solo music to be debuted by the singer, he teased followers during a break on "The Voice."
Harry Styles let fans in on the release date of his latest solo single at the semi-finals of the talent show, the Daily Mail reported. Initially, the singer hinted at a possible release when he posted three blank images on his Instagram account.
During a break in the filming of the live talent show, "The Voice" a video clip of a man walking towards a doorway which then cut to reveal the singer and the date of his single release - April 7 appeared on the screen. Fans were heard screaming with delight during the show.
Harry Styles followers were quick to get onto social media to share the video with some assuming the piano music in the background being from the single itself, Vogue reported. Thereafter the singer updated his social media account telling fans to be prepared for a big announcement.
According to reports fans have been on the edge for weeks expecting to hear about his new music. Further, fans began doubling speculation after the singer updated his Instagram post. The social media post of the star garnered more than a million likes.
Columbia Records, CEO confirmed to media last month that fans of Harry Styles would not have to wait too long to hear his solo album, the Huffington Post reported. With Harry Styles band -- One Direction on a break since January 2016, the singer has been busy with music as well as filming.
Harry Styles recently completed production on his first movie which is being put forward by Christopher Nolan called "Dunkirk." Since then the young singer has been seen spending more time in Los Angeles, with a focus on making music to kick-start his solo career. He is the second member of the band to focus on a solo career. The first was Zayn Malik who also has a single on the music charts at the moment.
