'Blue Bloods' Season 7 May Mark 150th Episode With A Bang, Important Characters To Bid Farewell?

The "Blue Bloods" Season 7 Episode 18 is titled "A Deep Blue Goodbye" and it seems like a hint that fans should get their box of tissues ready as a major heartache is bound to happen in the 150th episode. If the show is heading to a "The Walking Dead" Season 7 "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be" episode, then an important and well-loved character will definitely bid his or her farewell this weekend.

With "Blue Bloods" Season 7 Episode 18 being the show's 150th episode, many believed that the hit police procedural and legal drama television series may have a surprise under its belt to celebrate the major milestone. However, this could also mean that the show may be aiming for a shock factor, putting important characters on the chopping block.

Since the concepts of "Blue Bloods" and AMC's "The Walking Dead" are clearly different, the CBS show may just simply make one character's exit as reasonable as possible, yet heartbreaking at the same time. Mstars News suggested that Chief Taylor Daniels (Isaiah Washington) could be the unlucky one.

The site noted that although Chief Daniels still has a lot of love and passion for his work, he has hit the mandatory age for retirement and it's making it impossible for him to stay in his position for as long as he wanted. As if that wasn't enough, Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) may also realize his own age and career which makes retirement a highly possible option for him as well.

However, it was previously confirmed that Tom Selleck is not leaving the show despite reports that he may not be renewing his contract for "Blue Bloods" Season 7. The 72-year-old actor is still very much a part of the 150th episode as it air on March 31 at 10PM on CBS.
