With just a few months away until everyone gets to see Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) again in "Game of Thrones," speculations are almost overwhelming. When the premiere date of season 7 was officially announced, fans are apparently thrilled with what the medieval fantasy series has in store for them. The series has become critically acclaimed and a commercial success with critics saying that it maintains the trend of successful screen adaptations. Some say that it is a gateway drug to fantasy fan culture.
Naturally, nobody knows what will happen in "Game of Thrones" season 7 except that there are fans who suggest that ice and fire will meet finally. Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) is known to have an incestuous relationship with his twin brother Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau). Jaime has supported his twin sister in any way he can throughout the last six seasons and even have kids together while living at King's Landing. During the season finale, Jaime realized that Cersei has become devious and unforgiving, especially now that she sits on the Iron Throne.
In an interview with the Daily Beast, Coster-Waldau opened up about Jamie's relationship with Cersei and what fans can look forward to comes "Game of Thrones" season 7. He said that every scene is extremely important and Jaime is being institutionalized by circumstances, where there is no other way. He went on to say that since Jaime turned 15, he's been groomed that his life always starts and ends with Cersei no matter what. He also added that Jaime wants to do something to take his father's place.
"Wow, I was about to reveal something from Season 7 and thought, ‘What am I doing?" Coster-Waldau said. Moreover, fans believe that in "Game of Thrones" season 7, Cersei will be killed by her younger brother. Apparently, everyone thinks that Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) will do such thing since he's never been in a good relationship with his sister but as the Daily Star points out, Coster-Waldau's comments suggest otherwise.
