"The Young and the Restless" cast news are noting on the possibility that Michael Muhney will be returning to the CBS soap opera as Adam Newman. The recent events from the drama strengthened speculations about the character's return to Genoa City.
As Celeb Dirty Laundry points out, Chloe admitted in the latest "Young and Restless" episode that she did not kill Adam. Instead, she revealed that she drugged Adam and flew him away from town.
This means that Adam is still alive and may simply be lost somewhere outside Genoa City. Y&R spoilers from the publication further note that there is growing evidence about Adam's return in the upcoming episodes.
This leaves fans wondering which of the two actors who played Adam will be taking on the role in "The Young and the Restless." As most fans can recall, Justin Hartley dropped the role after taking part in the NBC hit series, "This Is Us."
Michael Muhney, who was the first actor to play Adam in "The Young and the Restless," previously addressed rumors of his return to the soap opera. According to Muhney, he was "blown away" when he learned about the viewers' pleas to have him return to the drama, reports Soap Hub.
Muhney thanked the fans for their overwhelming support even though he left "The Young and the Restless" years ago. However, Muhney refused to comment whether the rumors about his return are true or not.
