Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is rumored to leave the team this seems to be imminent. Meanwhile Adrian Peterson is still looking for a new team after Minnesota Vikings did not extend his contract, unfortunately, his option is running low.
Romo is in the dilemma as Dallas Cowboys now has two other quarterbacks Kellen Moore and Dak Prescott. The Cowboys recently re-signed Moore into the team's roster on Monday, March 20. With three quarterbacks Dallas Cowboys will have sufficient depth ahead of the season, but this will make Romo in a difficult situation.
Prescott was drafted in 2016 NFL Draft to become backup quarterback for Romo. However, he had an outstanding opportunity last season when Moore and Romo injured in the beginning of 2016 season. The 23-year-old player became the starter for Dallas Cowboys, and he showed his quality as the best quarterback to lead the team winning eight in the first 10 games.
This situation was very awkward for Romo who missed 10 games in the beginning of the season, after suffered an injury in his lower back during the preseason game against Seattle Seahawks on Aug. 25. When he returned to the field, Dallas Cowboys has decided to play him as a backup quarterback. Subsequently, Romo is rumored to leave Cowboys this season.
Another trade rumors are about the former Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, who still searches for the new team. According to Ben Goesling from ESPN, the Vikings decided to waive him after signing Latavius Murray on March 16. Three teams are reported to show interest to sign the 32-year-old player, they are New York Giants, Green Bay Packers, and Oakland Raiders, but none of the team has come to offer a contract for the 2012 NFL Most Valuable Player.
Moreover, New York Giants recently signed Shaun Draughn for its running back position. While Green Bay Packers and Oakland Raiders are still hesitant to make their move, making Peterson's future to be uncertain.
