Things continue to be exciting yet frustrating in the second season of "Blindspot". The most recent episode offered possible developments in the fight against Sandstorm only to have Borden blow everything up to bits. So what exactly makes Kurt Weller think that his team will have the upper hand in "Solos"? Is it possible that he knows something about Jane Doe's new boyfriend Oliver Kind and will reveal the truth in "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 17?
In "Evil Did I Dwell, Lewd Did I Live", the team finally discovered that Cade has been Nas' spy in Sandstorm, as per Entertainment Weekly. However, it was also revealed that Shepherd has been spying on them all this time through a bug in Patterson's tooth that was implanted after her abduction. Naturally, this leads to some nasty flashbacks to Patterson's torture that is made even worse as she finds herself face-to-face with Borden. Although it was certainly satisfying to see the traitor meet his end, it looks like Kurt Weller and the team have bigger things to worry about in "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 17. Like perhaps the unexpected kidnapping of Jane Doe and Oliver Kind.
The synopsis for "Solos" listed on The Futon Critic confirms that things could get weird for Jane Doe and Oliver Kind following their abduction. In addition to learning new things about each other, the couple are set to face "a dangerous situation" in "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 17. Can Kurt Weller find a way to save Jane and Oliver before it's too late? The team might be able to do it, but there is no guarantee that their relationship can be saved.
CeleBeat has already reported on the possibility that Jane Doe and Oliver Kind's relationship could take a sour turn. After all, there are speculations that Oliver might be a Sandstorm mole (seriously?) or just someone who isn't good enough for Jane (unlike Kurt Weller, maybe). Will the couple stay together? "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 17 will air on NBC on March 29.
