Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson Reunion: ‘Twilight’ Couple Opens Up About Past Relationship & Issues

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have long been broken up, but many fans of the "Twilight" couple continue to hope for a 'RobSten' reunion. While a reunion in the form of movies may not yet be possible in the immediate future, both stars seem to become more open to talk about their past issues and relationship.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's split continues to ring a bell for some fans and US President Donald Trump is famous for being a critical spectator of the couple's relationship. While it has been years since Trump blasted Stewart for cheating on her then-boyfriend, Pattinson, both Stewart and Pattinson have recently responded to the President's comments.

In an interview with WeltN24 while promoting his movie, "The Lost City of Z," the 30-year-old actor briefly commented that Trump may have "more interesting things to think about now" since he is already the head of the state, reports Gossip Cop. Pattinson's ex-girlfriend earlier responded to Trump's criticisms during her "Saturday Night Live" guesting and joked that Trump may be "in love" with the actor.

Stewart also told The Sunday Times that she did not like how her relationship with Pattinson was "turned into a commodity," according to Huffington Post. The 26-year-old actress explained that she was not trying to hide her relationship from Pattinson, but instead, she was trying to keep things between them private.

Since Stewart and Pattinson have become more open about their past relationship and issues, many fans held out hope for a reunion between the former couple. However, both stars appear to be busy with their respective projects, as Pattinson alone has expressed interest in doing more left-of-center movies, states Dark Horizons.

During the Kermode and Mayo podcast, Pattinson explained that he likes participating in projects that make him feel alienated instead of doing roles in movies with great directors. Pattinson shared that his upcoming films include "Good Time," "Damsel," "Idol's Eye," "High Life" and an improvised movie.
