John Legend, Chrissy Teigen News: Couple’s Daughter Says Her First Word

The 11-month-old infant daughter of John Legend and Chrissy Teigen has uttered her first word. Though it's not a word that many people would expect.

On her Instagram page, the 31-year-old supermodel posted a video involving the daughter of John Legend and Chrissy Teign named Luna. In it, she pointed to a four-legged feline that also made an appearance in the short clip. A few seconds later, Luna is able to utter the word "cat" after the supermodel asked the toddler to describe what it was. "Ah!!! So many firsts," Teigen captioned her post, which has since garnered around 3.4 million views as of this writing.

However, the first word of the daughter of John Legend and Chrissy Teigen is still up for debate. The singer recently said in an interview that he feels that the tiny toddler's actual first word is quite different. "I feel like she already said her first word, which is 'hi,'" Legend said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight Online back in January. "Because I feel like she's aware she's saying it, and she waves when she says it, so I feel like that's her first official word."

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, along with Luna, are currently vacationing in Marrakesh, Morocco. In the video that the supermodel had posted, the young family were having their lunch when they spotted the cat nearby. Before the viral clip, she had posted a photo of her daughter with the caption, "First bow!" The pic sees the toddler with a spoon in her mouth while sporting the pink accessory on the right side of her tiny head.

Recently, Legend shed light on their family life as a trio. He admits that it has come with plenty of challenges, but they have had an amazing couple of years. He added that communication and perspective are keys to keeping it all together, according to People. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have been married since 2013.
