"Girl Meets World" Season 3 may have served as the series finale for the "Boy Meets World" sequel, but that does not mean the end of the friendship built by the cast members through the years. Rowan Blanchard, Sabrina Carpenter and several of the cast recently did a mini reunion. Will "GMW" Season 4 still happen?
This article contains spoilers. Continue reading if you wish to learn more about the story.
"Girl Meets World" Season 3 has been officially cancelled on Disney Channel despite the fans' efforts to save the show. While series creator Michael Jacobs previously shared that there are talks to find the show a new home, as per Deadline, there have been no updates about the show's future since then.
It would be wise to note, however, that back then, Jacobs explained that their ongoing discussions with other networks for the "Girl Meets World" Season 3 renewal are still "at the very very beginning stages." This means that viewers may have to wait a longer time for the show to return on air should another network serve as its new home.
Despite all this, the friendships formed by the "GMW" Season 3 cast remain strong. As M Magazine reports, Corey Fogelmanis, Rowan Blanchard and August Maturo recently flaunted their friendship beyond "Girl Meets World" on Instagram.
Blanchard and Fogelmanis were also spotted together after the "Girl Meets World" actress attended the latter's performance of "Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead." Sabrina Carpenter, on the other hand, recently spoke highly of her co-stars, reports Just Jared Jr.
According to Carpenter, she was only 13 when she starred in "Girl Meets World" and has grown with the cast throughout the show's run on Disney Channel. Carpenter also said that Ben Savage is the one who makes her laugh on set all the time.
