It appears that The CW is giving "Riverdale" fans a reason to at least stay patient as the network is taking a break from airing the teen drama series in the next few weeks. The CW will air its March 10 schedule instead tonight, which is "The Vampire Diaries" series finale.
Spoiler TV notes that "Riverdale" season 1 episode 8 titled Chapter Eight: The Outsiders will be aired on March 30 at 9 PM ET, which sees Fred Andrews (Luke Perry) losing his crew as they are about to start the construction. Archie (KJ Apa) is of course to the rescue and asks his friends to help his dad whose livelihood is at stake, but when one of them is attacked, the group plans something that brings them in Southside Serpent territory.
Moreover, "Riverdale" season 1 episode 8 also sees Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) planning to throw a baby shower for Polly Cooper (Tiera Skovbye) just to make her feel good although she is cautious with the Betty and Veronica's plan as she knows what everyone actually feels. Additionally, the episode's promo also suggests that everyone will learn that FP Jones (Skeet Ulrich), the father of Jughead (Cole Sprouse) is a member of the Serpents making him anxious as to how everyone would react to this revelation.
"Riverdale" season 1 episode 8 main cast ensemble includes (via Heavy) K.J. Apa, Luke Perry, Camila Mendes, Lili Reinhart, Cole Sprouse, Madchen Amick, Marisol Nichols, Madeleine Petsch and Ashleigh Murray. Guest stars include Tiera Skovbye, Hayley Law and Skeet Ulrich.
"Riverdale" is an American teen drama TV series based on Archie Comics characters created by Archie Comics' chief creative officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa with Greg Berlanti, who executive produced the series. In May 2016, The CW owned the rights to series "Riverdale" with its 13-episode first season that premiered on Jan. 26 and the network on March 7 renewed the series for season 2.
