Bucky the Winter Soldier is rumored to take charge of Captain America based on Sebastian Stan's social media in November last year. However, after three months there is no official statement from the Marvel Studios regarding the role of Winter Soldier in the "Avengers: Infinity War" movie.
The rumor first circulated in November after Stan posted a picture in his Instagram showing him carrying the metalic version of Captain America's shield as reported by Cinema Blend. He thanked Casey McBroom for the shield. However, the name he mentioned is not the one who is in charge of property for "Avengers: Infinity War."
Stan is the actor who played Bucky Barnes, the good friend of Steve Rogers. Barnes was assumed death during the mission in Europe to eliminate Hydra during World War 2. However, later on he appeared alive and had been transformed as super soldiers and being brainwashed. He will join the Iron Man, Thor and the other superheroes in the "Avengers: Infinity War" to fight Thanos who holds the Infinity stone.
According to Comic Book, "Avengers: Infinity War" is one of the most anticipated comic book movie. One of the highly anticipated storyline is the continuity following "Captain America: Civil War" when Steve Rogers gave up his shield and quit to become Captain America.
Bucky as his best friend and compatriot is the most suitable candidate as Captain America, which also depicted in the comic book. That is one of the intriguing and highly anticipated moment in the "Avengers: Infinity War." Furthermore, Stan had given the teaser in his Instagram last November as shown below:
