Patrick Stewart might be thinking of going back on his decision to retire as Professor X. "Legion" star Dan Stevens has just offered the "Logan" actor the opportunity to reprise his role as Charles Xavier in the "X-Men" spinoff series. Could this mean that David Haller will eventually meet his father in "Legion" Season 2?
Dan Stevens was recently a guest on "The Late Late Show with James Corden", where Patrick Stewart was also present, as per ComicBookMovie. In the YouTube video, the "Beauty and the Beast" actor listened intently as the "Logan" star explained his retirement from his role as Professor X before teasing on the possibility of appearing in "Deadpool 2". Stevens then jumped at the opportunity of giving Stewart "a job offer" to portray David Haller's father Charles Xavier in "Legion". The "X-Men actor certainly seemed to accept the offer as the audience applauded the idea. Will Stewart reprise his iconic role for "Legion" Season 2?
From what I understand rules and consistency are everything as a foster dog parent. #GingerGurl @ASPCA @WagsandWalks #AdoptDontShop #pitbull pic.twitter.com/aCvKtwlxSA

It is still uncertain whether Patrick Stewart will make an appearance as Charles Xavier in "Legion" Season 2. In the meantime, it looks like the "Logan" star is just happy to take on a new role in real life. Stewart has recently shared on Twitter that he is now the foster dog parent of a female pitbull named Ginger. There is little doubt that the real-life Professor X has fallen in love with his furry little friend. The most recent post shows the veteran actor lovingly allowing Ginger to sleep on the couch although their household has a rule: no dogs on the furniture.
Patrick Stewart plays Professor X in "Logan", which is currently in theaters worldwide. "Legion" airs on FX every Wednesday nights.
